We L-O-V-E herbs. That is what CHI MEDICINAL FARM is about. They are magical bundles of goodness and flavour. In addition to their culinary delights they provide vital antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and an array of medicinal benefits.
Every herb contains unique active components that induce a range of actions individual to the complex, organic structures of the plant. Isolating the active component has been used in the manufacturing of many of the pharmaceuticals you know today, such as aspirin, based on a natural product salicin isolated from Salix alba, introduced by Bayer in 1899.
Throughout time herbs have played a vital role in improving health and warding off illness and have been the preferred choice over synthetic options since using the whole plant is arguably less harmful, more beneficial and nutritious.
Cooking with herbs or adding them raw to food add unique flavours profiles in addition to individual medicinal attributes. Simple remedies may also be created from fresh or dried herbs by making herbal teas or infusions, decoctions, salves, ointments, tinctures or poultices.
I am a firm believer in holistic medicine to balance your Chi. Try your own natural remedies at home but always seek the advice of an expert (Dr, Naturopath, Pharmacist, Acupuncturist, TCM Dr, Physio, Nurse, etc...) if symptoms do not improve or continue to worsen in any way.
As I have said before, you are responsible for your own health and wellbeing. Take Care.
