We had a stellar blackberry season this year. The berries came a bit earlier due to the warmer Spring and long Summer. We ended up selling quite a few punnets at our farm gate, which the travelers, Shane, Sassy and I thoroughly enjoyed. Shane picked bucket after bucket to keep up with the overwhelming demand, I 'm surprised his hands didn't stay a permanent tinge of... blackberry.
Here is the fresh batch of baguettes I made that we will serve our guests with our scrumptious housemade, organic blackberry jam.
